Our weaver, Nicole, created this rug in our Lowell Michigan weaving studio.

This is beautiful handwoven rug is made of synthetic fibers making it machine washable and completely reversible with both sides being nearly identical. 

Care Instructions: Regular shaking will keep your rug looking fresh. When you need to clean it more thoroughly simply machine wash or hand wash in cool water with mild soap. Allow your rug to air dry.  When it is nearly dry, you may toss it in the dryer on low heat. Give it a good shake to re-fluff.  You may vaccuum your rug, but do not use the spinning beater bar when you vaccuum.  The spinning brush can tangle in the fibers and possibly damage your rug or your vaccuum cleaner.

The materials used in Ability Weavers are re-purposed from the furniture industry and textile mills. These materials are premium upholstery fabric or premium industry selvage from a textile mill.   The fabrics used in our rugs would likely be added to the landfill if we didn't re-purpose them in our rugs.  All warp (the part that holds the rug together ) is new poly-cotton carpet warp.  The combination of materials makes an extremely durable rug.
