16/8 - Mop 100% yarn Cotton by Maurice Brassard.   Cotton is perfect for rep and weaving.   We find this yarn to be especially soft and supple.  Good strong weaving yarn (warp or weft) for durable placemats, table runners or rugs.  Washes easily. Colors are vibrant and colorfast. 

This yarn is not mercerized.
